Ensure the intake louvers and log cavity are free from dirt and dust. Dedicated means no other outlets or fixtures are sharing the same circuit breaker. The heater is either dirty or defective. The remote or the remote receiver may need to be replaces.

The latest versions of optiflame fires will have two switches marked i and ii to select the level of heating typically 1kw and 2kw output check if these switches are in the on position. Check to ensure the batteries are working and replace if required. Always use properly grounded fused and polarized outlets. If the heat turns on there is not a power issue.

If the unit does not turn on please make sure the heat switch is activated. Press the switch twice to give heat and the flame effect on older models. Please change the light bulbs. The remote control may need to be initialized with the stove.
